URL snippets

Open any site in a keystroke by typing a greater-than sign and a shortcut in the address bar.

URL snippets turn the address bar into a launcher for your favourite sites.

Using a snippet

Type > followed by a shortcut. For example, >yt opens YouTube. Snippets also appear as their own search mode in the address bar.

Managing snippets

  1. Open Settings → URL Snippets.
  2. Enter a Shortcut and the URL it should open.
  3. Select Add snippet.

To remove a snippet, use the remove button next to it. Peppermint keeps your snippets safe, even when idle tabs are unloaded.
